Robotic Assembly at Frontiers

Hi, here is my first peer-reviewed journal paper, which titled “Design to Robotic Assembly: An Exploration in Stacking.”

This research revisits how linear members can be stacked on top of each other, having different dimensions. Remaining balance at all time is an important criterion of stacking. We manage to tweak the assembly orders to achieve a shape of an inverted pyramid.

This is the first submitted manuscript in my PhD research. Although I might focus more on the reconfigurable assembly, in the coming years, this is a nice starting point to review different approaches of assembly and gain experience of the peer review process.
