It is an ongoing research on translating a double curved surface to a flat mechanism. Some challenge lays in how to locate the hinges and the voids on the material, which enable the flat material to be reconfigured to the desired surface. On the 25th of September, I will present the latest progress on the conference Advances in Architectural Geometry 2018. Looks forward to it.
